Other information:

1. The pay carries all other allowances as admissible to a Central Civil servant stationed at Kanpur.

2. The benefits, such as LTC, medical re-imbursement, transportation allowance, children education allowance, contribution towards New Pension System (NPS), re-imbursement of telephone bills, book grants, employment HRA (if real estate not offered), research study (up to Rs 25 lakhs with the provision to make an application for a supplemental grant) and financial backing towards national and international conferences shall be permitted as per the Institute standards.

3. From its internal resources, the Institute offers an additional top-up income of Rs 25,000/- monthly for the very first three years of service to the newly signed up with faculty members. After 3 years of service, the professors member(s) are qualified for factor to consider for Young Faculty Fellowship (open for faculty of age upto 40 years) offering a top-up salary of Rs.15,000/- per month for three years, and/or Faculty Chair positions providing a top-up wage of Rs 25,000/- monthly for 3 years. Both the positions are used based upon efficiency.

4. Traveling allowance for joining: The Institute will reimburse worldwide travel expenses for the freshly joined professor and reliant relative to the maximum limit of Rs. 1,50,000. Domestic travel compensation will be according to government rules.
