KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A top palm oil industry analyst on Tuesday said Indonesia's plan for the extensive use of the palm-oil based B40 biodiesel from next year would be "catastrophic" for the worldwide market, as it would involve the additional use of 1.5 to 1.7 million metric tons of the commodity.
Oil World senior expert David Mielke also said worldwide palm oil production is expected to increase by 2.3 million metric loads in 2024/25 to the previous season.
